Kerela - located on the south west coast of India is a place where people like me wish for a personal tea/coffee estate, big farmhouse located at hills and man's most loyal friend, preferably Labrador Retriever. This state is famous for its ethereal beauty, spice garden, Ayurvedic tourism, backwaters, worldwide popular dance form 'Kathakali' and many many more things which takes you away from the normal day to day schedule. If one has ample amount of time (and of course money), he/she can truly & fully admire this God's country.
Vasco de gama, who is revered in history was actually in search of Kerela for its spices. If I go by the facts about this amazing state, Kerela contributes more than 97% to national output of black pepper, 85% in natural rubber, 70% in cardamom and other main spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, cashew. I visited Kerela first time while working with Infosys, Mysore and was in awe straightway. Nature at its best, raw form. This was my 2nd trip and divided in such way that we tried to cover max. region.
